“We recently contracted with PK Construction & Consulting to manage and execute the city requirements for a new 300-space hillside parking lot required by the city just to maintain our Operational Permit at our K–12 campus. Paul’s skilled management in obtaining a Conditional Use Permit required maneuvering through several city departments, requiring all departments to agree and sign off prior to issuing a permit for a hillside parking lot—which was required by the city—only to have the requirements contradict some of the other department requirements. Paul was able to bring all department heads together and get the approvals necessary to issue the permit. After the permit was issued, Paul managed the intricate hillside construction and brought the project to completion before the new semester in September with no disruption to classes. Through the entire process, Paul was sensitive to the urgent timelines and budget constraints. Paul’s sense of urgency, along with his knowledge of the workings of the City, is the only reason this project was completed within the city’s demanding timeline. I am happy to recommend Paul Kinney, and he will be Village Christian’s go-to for any construction consulting needs in the future.”
